SLIDING EXPANSION JOINT
FxF, PN10

SLIDING EXPANSION JOINT made of BRASS, FxF, PN10

Brass expansion joint. Expansion joints are used to compensate for the axial translations of pipe sections for the distribution of water or for industrial applications in order to absorb movements due to the effects of temperature.

With threaded–end according to ISO 228/1: FxF

Maximum working pressure 10 bar, PN10
Working temperature: from -10° C to + 120 ° C

Sandblast finishing
Measures available from 1/2″ to 2″

INSTALLATION
1. Screw-down the valve on the line on the proper exhagonal parts till reaching its complete locking, therefore use suitable products for the holding of the threads.
2. Afterwards lock the connection ring-nut in order to allow the two parts of the joint sliding.

MAINTENANCE
In case of leaking just slightly lock the connection ring-nut.

DISPOSAL
Before disposal separate the component according to various materials. Please refer to product literature for more information. Forward sorted material to recycling (e.g. metallic materials) or dispose it, according to local and currently valid legislation taking into consideration the environment.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Performance data, including pressure – temperature ratings have been developed from published standards, supplier material certifications, design calculations and in-house testing. They cover typical applications and are provided as a general guideline.
