BRASS INCLINED NON-RETURN SPRING
FxF, PN16

BRASS INCLINED NON-RETURN SPRING FxF, PN16

Brass inclined valves with built-in spring check. Recommended for water, gas and air systems.

Maximum working temperature: 80 ° C
Threading: EN – ISO 228/1

FUNCTIONING
inside the body, the flow area of the fluid is regulated by a moving shutter. When the obturator rests on the seat the valve is completely closed, when instead it is at its maximum distance, the valve is completely open.
They are operated by means of a handwheel placed on the rod.
The spring placed inside prevents the return of the flow.
The closure must be carried out exclusively by hand, without the use of levers, which would compromise the shape of the sealing devices.
ATTENTION:
In case of high temperatures, use hand protection gloves to act on the switching device.

INSTALLATION
For a correct assembly, install the valve following the flow direction indicated by the arrow stamped on the body.
The valve can be mounted both horizontally and vertically.
For the sealing on threads use a material compatible with the fluid used.
Screw the valve onto the threaded pipes, positioning the key exclusively on the special hexagonal parts up to reach the valve lock on the pipe (this item has a thread-bottom stop where the pipe rests).
After connecting the valve to the pipes, check that the valve is not subjected to stress due to the pipes, then use heavy clamps to support the pipes.
Slowly open the upstream shut-off devices to avoid water hammer.

MAINTENANCE
No maintenance operations are foreseen, except for the adjustment of the screw cap in case of loss from the rod.

DISPOSAL
For valve operating with hazardous liquids(toxic, corrosive…) , if there is a possibility of residue remaining in the valve, take due safety precaution and carry out required cleaning operation. Personnel in charge must be trained and equipped with appropriate protection devices.
Prior to disposal, disassemble the valve and separate the component according to various materials.
Please refer to product literature for more information. Forward sorted material to recycling (e.g. metallic materials) or dispose it, according to local and currently valid legislation taking into consideration the environment.
